Subway
The subway system in Shanghai has eighteen lines till now. The basic fare is 3 yuan per entry with additional fees according to your travelling distance. The Subway Trains run from 05:30 in the morning until 23:00 in the late evening. A ticket can be bought at the ticket office of each station or at an automatic ticketing machine. Subway stops are announced over the train’s speaker system in Chinese and English.
Taxi
Taxis in Shanghai have several colors. All of them show a taximeter inside. You can easily find them in every part of Shanghai. Within 3 kilometers, the taxi fee is RMB 14 yuan. All Taxis will charge RMB 2.7 yuan per kilometer if the distance is more than 3 kilometers. Additional 30% fee will be charged if you take the taxi during 23:00 to 05:00.

If you are arriving at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, you can take the Subway Line 10 from Hongqiao No.1 or No.2 terminal (direction of Ji-Long road), then transfer to Line 18 (direction of Hangtou) at Guo-quan road, and get off at Fudan University Subway Station. The whole trip takes about 1 hour.
Since Shanghai Pudong International Airport is far from Fudan University, so it is more convenient to take a taxi.
